Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Tolerance and friendship are the twin themes of Peter-No-Tail in America, a 1985 Swedish animated cartoon feature. Peter-No-Tail is a friendly cat (already you know it's a fantasy), evidently of the Manx variety. He is constantly ridiculed for his tail-less status by his furry friends. Peter comes to America, where he hopes that all felines are created equal, and is befriended by a hobo. This 75-minute cartoon was first shown in the US on the Showtime Cable service.
