Part of the People's Century series, God Fights Back charts the rise of conservative, religious-based politics in the late '70s and early '80s of the 20th century. In response to the liberalism of the '60s, the "religious right" gained political influence during this time. This is a fine, informative film for those with an interest in the subject matter, as well as for teachers who may find it useful in a classroom setting.
