Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
A couple of homesteaders -- one poor, the other rich -- vie for a pretty prairie flower in this pleasant comedy-western directed and starring Leo Maloney. Maloney plays Buck McDavid, the poor homesteader, whom Mona Selby (Josephine Hill) actually prefers. But Mona's snobbish mother (Eva Thatcher) likes to see the wealthy Alf (Chet Ryan) become her son-in-law. To put pressure on the girl, Alf attempts to foreclose on Buck, who quickly retaliates. When Mona's father (Harry Belmour) becomes aware of Alf's underhanded tactics, he allows his daughter to marry Buck. As always, Maloney's faithful dog, Bullet, plays a large part in the proceedings.
