Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
This video pays tribute to country music legend Patsy Cline. The singer from Virginia rose to stardom with her first big hit, "Walkin' After Midnight," in 1957. She appeared at the Grand Ole Opry in 1958, and was at the top of her career in 1963 when she died in an airplane crash. The popularity of her music, and her influence on other country singers, has never waned. The show, hosted by Loretta Lynn, contains film clips, interviews, and television clips, as well as seven of her songs.
