Synopsis by Nathan Southern

French cabaret singer Patrick Bruel ascended to international fame in the 1990s, as a Gallic pop idol with a massive teenage fanbase. After a slight lag in his popularity, Bruel experienced a resurgence around a decade later, on the heels of his 1999 album Juste Avant and other subsequent efforts that found him returning to the arms of traditional French vocal stylings. The music release Patrick Bruel: Rien Ne S'Efface finds the crooner performing an extended set before a live audience; the 27 selections include such numbers as "Juste avant," "Casser la voix," "Voulez-vous?" and "Elle voulait tout."
