A suburban mother with a shady past finds that old habits die hard when her ex-husband gets paroled from prison, and strong-arms her into taking part in an ambitious diamond heist. Kim Furst is a family woman, but a simple glance beneath the surface reveals that she used to be something much more insidious. In her previous life, Kim was a thief. But that was a long time ago, so when her previous husband Lawrence shows up in search of a partner to help him steal the world's fourth largest diamond, she turns him down cold. But Lawrence has a knack for persistence, and when he threatens Kim's family she finally relents. Meanwhile, Kim's current husband works in the same museum where the priceless jewel is currently on display. When FBI agents Goodwin and Windsor offer Kim protection for luring Lawrence into a trap, she sees it as the perfect way out of her tense predicament. Kim's deepest fears are soon realized, however, when during the course of the heist she learns that she has been deceived by the men who promised to safeguard her family. Now, in order to make a make a clean break from her past and protect the ones she loves, Kim will be forced to try and beat Lawrence at his own game.
