Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Sisters Patricia (Allene Ray) and Vi Moreland (Mildred Bright) are left destitute when their father suddenly dies in this inexpensive silent Western filmed on location in San Antonio, Texas. Accepting an offer to live on their uncle's Texas ranch, Patricia and Vi suddenly find themselves in the middle of a range war. About to fork over his ranch to an unscrupulous neighbor (J.W. Johnston), the girl's uncle is persuaded otherwise by young windmill salesman Robert Frazer. In retaliation, the neighbor kidnaps Vi, but Frazer rescues the girl, killing her abductor in a shoot-out. The Moreland ranch is saved from foreclosure when Frazer discovers oil on the property. This minor Western, one in a series of four produced by Bert Lubin in 1920, served to introduce future serial star Ray to the screen. The novice actress was billed under her real name, Alice Ray.
