Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Bengali filmmaker Satyen Bose makes his directorial debut with this preachy coming of age drama about life at an all boys boarding school. Not long after his father dies, trouble-making lad Ajoy is sent away to school by his mother, with the hope that he will learn some respect and disciple. There he becomes friends with Shakti, who is handicapped. Together, the boys have an encounter with a popular teacher and ardent nationalist named Sisirbabu (Bose), and the venal school superintendent. Though at first he loathes the teacher, he befriends him after Ajoy's partner in crime, Shakti, dies.
