In the aftermath of the Greek Civil War, a tragic accident mistaken for murder forever tears a family apart. In the aftermath of the Civil War, Vassili's father Manos was still in exile, leaving the young boy to be raised by his Uncle Kostas. Vassili's village was just beginning to witness the illusion of change when Pandora descended to spread chaos like her mythical namesake. But while Kostas was easily seduced be her charms, Manos proved capable of resisting once he eventually returned home. In time, Manos becomes convinced that Pandora is harboring a dark secret. When tragedy strikes, the family that struggled to stay together through a devastating war suddenly realizes that they will never be the same again.
