Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
In this Chinese children's drama, a 9-year old gymnast is hit by a car and ends up recovering at a government-run reserve for endangered animals where her mother, a zoologist, is working. Later she heads to the remote mountain village of her Grandfather. In the village, she becomes friends with the local children. One day they are playing and they stumble across a wounded panda. The caring kids gently take it to the grandfather's barn to heal it. When the panda is again strong, they return it to the wilds, but as they do, they encounter the poachers that harmed him. Mayhem ensues as the children ingeniously capture the wicked hunters and hand them over to the authorities.
