Synopsis by Hal Erickson
There's a strong likelihood that the leading man of this Vitagraph melodrama was early matinee idol Maurice Costello. Ambushed in the Sahara desert and left for dead, the hero finds refuge in a Bedouin tent. He lives long enough to avenge himself against his attacker, who turns out to be his wife's lover. Filmed in and around New York, Paid in Full suffered from unconvincing "exterior" backdrops and an overall lack of thrills. Even the climactic sandstorm, which was supposed to have been the film's highlight, was poorly handled.
