Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Over Night gets under way on the deck of the night boat to Albany, where two honeymooning couples meet. En route, the wife of one couple and the husband of the other are obliged to briefly disembark to attend to important business. The boat then sails without them, whereupon the remaining spouses are obliged by a series of hilarious circumstances to pose as husband and wife. Complications begin piling up like cordwood as the ersatz newlyweds are forced to share a train compartment, a balky automobile, and a hotel bridal suite. Vivian Martin was the nominal star of this World Pictures 5-reeler, but the film was stolen hands-down by those expert funsters Sam Hardy and Herbert Yost.
