Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
Apt New Orleans Detective Mike Hoolihan (Patricia Clarkson) investigates the murder of up-and-coming astrophysicist and black hole expert Jennifer Rockwell (Mamie Gummer). After narrowing down the potential suspects to the boyfriend of the victim, and also her boss, she faces a battle of will against the powerful cerebral forces that surround her, the flashbacks plague her and the questions of quantum mechanics that confuse her instincts in this adaptation of the book "Night Train" by Martin Amis.
