Our Future Generation is a 26-part series featuring young people from diverse backgrounds who share their hopes, dreams, and everyday concerns. Topics touch on a multitude of issues ranging from pregnancy to prayer in the classroom. The series is written by teens with the aim of helping young people to understand their commonality. Our Future Generation: Teen Curfews explores the effectiveness and fairness of teen curfews. Across America, a growing number of cities are adopting teen curfew laws in hopes of deterring youth violence, crime, and gang activity. This program examines the success of such laws and addresses the question of whether government should have the power to restrict teen movement. Guests share experiences and provide insight as to exactly what young people think of curfews.
