Writer/director Yves Lavandier presents the story of Eglantine (Émilie Dequenne), a troubled 17-year old whose family situation is as confusing as her romantic entanglements. Raised by a coddling mother and an absent father, Eglantine navigates life with a warped perspective that ends up affecting her relationship with Sébastien (Cyrille Thouvenin), an older boyfriend that's become frustrated with Eglantine's unwillingness to take things to the next level. Only her therapist has the chance to help her break down the walls that are interfering in this critical step into adulthood.
