The Welsh television channel S4C is responsible for producing the feature Otherworld, based the medieval Welsh legends known as The Mabinogi. Rhiannon is married and has a son with Lord Pwyll, but a monster takes the baby away. When the giant King Bendigeidfran (voice of Ioan Gruffudd) attacks Ireland, Dan gets involved in many serious battles and weds Rhiannon. Meanwhile, Lleu is involved in many confusing battles of his own before they return to the present day. Experimental rocker John Cale provides the original musical score.
