Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The emotional reunions of former comrades in arms are conveyed via on-the-spot film coverage and dramatized re-enactments in this hour-long cable special. The ex-servicepeople brought together years after serving together are drawn from a wide spectrum, from the Korean War to Vietnam. The program's high point occurs when a helicopter crew is reunited with the pilot whom they believed was killed in action in 1970. Produced by Indigo Films, Operation Reunion was a presentation of the History Channel.
