Synopsis by Janiss Garza
When Mallaby, a ruthless Western miner (Jack Standing), comes to New York, Mary Livingstone (Gladys Brockwell) falls in love with him. He leaves her with child but without marriage license and she heads out for the mining town Golden City in the hopes of seeing her father before he dies. He's passed on by the time she gets there but Mallaby is around. He chases after her once again, but this time Mary finds a protector in Watt Tabor (Willard Louis), who marries her even though she doesn't love him. She does come to appreciate him, however, and when Mallaby takes a pot shot at her, he finds himself the target of Tabor's ire. Their fight takes them to a mine which is blown up, and as it floods with water, Tabor saves the life of the man he was trying to kill.
