Synopsis by Alice Day
When a co-worker announces that he has AIDS, but will continue to work, the response among his office mates can be one of panic. Based on ignorance and unreasonable fear, their feelings can make a difficult situation even worse. By educating employees, management can offer a better working environment for both infected and non-infected personnel. Information about AIDS and how it infects is provided in One of Our Own -- Dealing With AIDS in the Workplace. Designed to be used in employee education classes, the program comes with an educator's guide, a management guide, and brochures to be handed out to employees.
