Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
An aspiring Chicago gang-banger questions his future when he falls for a devoted young woman and his brother is shot to death in filmmaker Juan Frausto's unflinching urban drama. In Chicago's Little Village, Raul (Mauricio Mesa) seems to be on the fast track to power. With an older brother who holds a key position in the Latin Crowns and the street smarts to stay alive, Raul has all the makings of a great gang leader. When Raul finds love and his brother's life is casually snuffed out, his efforts to escape the gang are complicated by a fierce new addition to Latin Crowns. As the gang begins to crumble around him and his dreams of escaping to a better life begin to fade, Raul must make the most difficult decision of his life as he decides where his loyalties truly lie.
