Synopsis by Sally Barber

Krishnamurti on the Nature of Love presents a psychological and spiritual look at love, suffering and death. Filmed beneath a live oak tree in Ojai, California in 1982, the video documents Krishnamurti examining the issue of loving and living without conflict. He asks, "Why is it that we human beings, who have lived on this earth for over a million years or more, why have we become what we are: brutal, violent, contradictory, killing each other in the name of God, in the name of country, in the name of peace...why is it that there is no end to all this terrible individualistic, competitive drive which is destroying the world?" Krishnamurti inquiries deeply into our human nature, challenging viewers to take action in order to fill their lives with genuine love, passion and depth.
