Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

San Antonio, Texas businessman Bert Lubin produced this inexpensive oater which constituted the screen debut of Allene Ray, perhaps the greatest serial queen of the 1920s. A local girl, Allene was billed Alice Ray for this and several other Lubin Westerns. Her leading man was Hollywood comedian Harry Myers, who, although down on his luck career-wise must have been quite a scoop for both Lubin and San Antonio. Myers and Tex O'Reilly played lawmen searching for the villain who murdered Ray's father. This none too original plot was conjured up by O'Reilly, a local writer known as the "O. Henry of the Plains." This Western was filmed in 1919 but not released nation-wide until 1921.
