Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Coming on the heels of his landmark 1976 pinku eiga film Wife to Be Sacrificed, this exploitation thriller from Japanese director Masaru Konuma is something of a change of pace, blending Nikkatsu's traditional sex and rape elements with a more conventional mystery. Pin-up queen Junko Miyashita stars as Mitsuko, the wife of a jewelry dealer (Shinzo Hotta). Mitsuko feels that someone is spying on her, and when her husband brings home his buyer (Akira Hanagami), she knows that he is the man who was watching her all along. When her husband has too many drinks and passes out, the buyer assaults Mitsuko in one of the director's notoriously protracted rape scenes. Mitsuko and her husband later murder the rapist and bury him beneath the floorboards, leading a local yakuza kingpin to come after them for revenge. If that wasn't bad enough, it turns out that Mitsuko's husband is also trying to kill her because he is having an affair with a diamond smuggler. Maki Mizuno and Akira Hanagami co-star.
