This heroic adventure from Greek director Orestis Laskos deals with a Cretan man named Manolis (Nikos Xanthopoulos), the descendant of a family which had historically defended Crete against all invaders, particularly the Turks. Manolis was sent abroad as a youth to keep him safe, but he returns to Crete as a man, intending to keep his identity a secret. He falls in love with young Maria (Katy Papanika), and when his true identity becomes known, he must fight the Turks as his ancestors did in order to keep her, himself, and his homeland safe. Yiorgis Moutsios co-stars with Eleni Zafiriou and Theodoros Moridis.
