Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
A Buddhist monk befriends a girl whose scheming mother is trying to sell her to the highest bidder in pre-revolutionary Mongolia. The girl fends off the lecherous advances of the men, and she becomes good friends with the monk. He and the girl leave the temple when the monk discovers that his teacher has lied to him.
