Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
Filmed in black-and-white, this four-character Irish drama evidently takes Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? as a model. At the Dublin airport, Rob (Michael McElhatton) picks up his sister Karen (Jayne Snow) and her clownish husband John (Mark Doherty). They are joined by Rob's girlfriend Kathy (Tristan Gribbin), who is seeking a deeper relationship from Rob. As the weekend progresses, it moves from drunken hijinks to disclosed secrets, intertwined revelations and unusual unmaskings. Shown at the 1997 Boston Film Festival.
