This documentary centers on the Middle East and the terror that is currently engulfing the region. Filmed within a span of three years across Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Northern Iraq, the film follows the lives of soldiers, despairing mothers, hopeless children, and other innocent civilians as they try to navigate a society that is ruled by a culture of fear and violence. Written and directed by Gianfranco Rosi.
