Seen from the perspectives of residents, family members, and staff, this is a look at Seaview Manor in Nova Scotia, a long-term care facility. The staff members must work within a budget, and are understaffed. They talk about the difficulty of providing the proper care for the elderly residents in this framework, while the residents feel neglected and lonely. Family members are unable to give the care their loved ones need, yet there is guilt that they must resort to a nursing home.
