Synopsis by Maggie Sadler

At the young age of thirty-two, ordinary family man and practicing lawyer Ady Barkan received the unexpected and life-altering diagnosis of ALS. Yet as he navigated the trials associated with the decline in his physical capabilities, Barkan also faced significant barriers to obtaining effective and affordable healthcare. Barkan then married his personal experiences with his background in law and tireless spirit to advocate healthcare reform across the United States, serving as a champion for those struggling with debilitating diagnoses. Written and directed by Nicholas Bruckman.
