Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Based on a story by Louis Joseph Vance, No Man's Land starred Bert Lytell, who had previously appeared in an adaptation of Vance's detective yarn The Lone Wolf. Lytell is here cast as Garrett Cope, who on the say-so of villainous Henry Miller (Charles Arling) is unjustly sentenced to a life prison term. Miller marries Cope's sweetheart Katherine Gresham (Anna Q. Nilsson) and moves to the South Seas, where he soon reveals himself to be a dangerous German spy named Henrich Mueller. Fortunately, Cope is pardoned in time to prevent Miller/Mueller from wreaking any further damage on Humanity. Perhaps it goes without saying that Cope also wins back the love of Katherine Gresham, but we'll say it anyway.
