Only fragments of this Charley Chase two-reel comedy are known to exist. Some of it can be seen in Robert Youngson's 1967 compilation The Further Perils of Laurel and Hardy. It's a typical Chase plot -- he's a happily married man who goes off to meet his wife's sister. Unfortunately, he winds up with the wrong woman and escorts her home. The ensuing mix-ups are easy to guess, as Chase desperately tries to get rid of the unwanted dame. Unlike most comedians in the same situation, Chase manages to resolve the problem without inspiring the wrath of his better half (Chase generally came out on top in his pictures). Trade paper Moving Picture World was especially generous in its review, saying that the end gags "would do credit to a [Harold] Lloyd or a [Harry] Langdon" -- an impressive remark that makes the loss of much of the film's footage especially tragic.
