Synopsis by Marvin Royce Moreno
A look at the legendary Japanese animator and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, creator of animated classics like Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro, following his retirement in 2013. When he realized that the retired life is really not for him, the traditionalist Miyazaki started experimenting with CGI, something he has never used before. He then blends this new world technology with old world technique, while grappling with the challenges, to create a short film. Directed by Kaku Arakawa
