Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Following up on his box-office smash Durga, Franz Osten directs this wild musical comedy about a would-be swashbuckler trying to overcome his hypochondria. Though he comes from a long line of proud and famous warriors, Mahendra (Rama Shukul) is considered something of a coward because of this unhealthy fear of disease. Unfortunately, the girl he loves, Menakas (Hansa Wadkar), is only attracted to muscle-bound courageous he-men, such as Mahendra's rival Jeevan. He eventually overcomes his ailment by imbibing a "magic pill" and dreaming -- or hallucinating -- that is, in fact, a red-blooded alpha male who can smash the baddies and rescue the damsel in distress.
