Synopsis by Gayla Mills

The world's most dangerous reptiles can be seen in harrowing true-life encounters with humans. From Colombia to Indonesia to Thailand, these creatures are able to kill within minutes. The 300-pound Komodo dragon of Indonesia, with crushing jaws and razor-sharp claws, emerges from the forest to silently prowl while the village children play nearby. Though a young mother in Thailand is threatened by a nest of cobras hidden among sacks of rice, the culture still values snakes as protectors of grain. Viewers also see people using reptiles as weapons, as a Colombian Indian harvests poison from a frog to make deadly hunting darts. Chilling scenes of snake bites and attacks will thrill older kids, but children under ten may be frightened by the realistic footage.
