Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Known for being one of the most memorable seasons in Winston Cup History, the 2002 NASCAR Winston Cup is captured in its entirety in this release from Warner Home Video. All of the season's 36 races are covered, particularly the legendary Daytona 500. NASCAR: Winston Cup 2002 offers a bevy of interview footage, as well as insight into some off-track drama (racing veteran Sterling Marlin must contend with youngsters Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart). Footage from some of the worst multi-car pile-ups and crashes is also featured, and cockpit-cameras provide an up-close-and-personal view of the track from the driver's perspective. A special bonus disc includes a thorough look at car testing and development before and after the season.
