Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith

Though racing enthusiasts enjoy debating who should be considered the greatest driver of all times, most realize there are many top drivers who deserve special recognition. The racing records of men like Jeff Gordon, Darrell Waltrip, David Pearson, Richard Petty, and Dale Earnhardt are reviewed while racing clips recall some of their finest moments. Several drivers reflect on their careers during interviews. An added historical touch involves reviewing the careers of the champion drivers of the 1950s. Viewers are asked how they think drivers like Buck Baker, Tim Flock, and Herb Thomas might do if they were racing today.
