Synopsis by Janiss Garza
In this charming, yet highly dramatic picture, Yano (Jack Abbe) works as a delivery boy in his uncle's Chinatown antique shop. One of the shop's customers is Letty Stanford (Clara Morris), a wealthy girl who is working for the Red Cross and who is engaged to army Lieutenant Frank Maxwell (Larry Steers) (this film was, after all, made during World War I). When Letty and Frank save Yano's dog from the dog catcher, the three become fast friends. This friendship is put to the test when Letty is kidnapped by German spies. Yano finds out where she is being held prisoner and has to risk his life to help her escape and notify the police. But Yano and Letty both make it through safely, and Yano is given a big reward, which goes towards building a cottage for his sweetheart, Tama (Martha Taka).
