Synopsis by Mark Deming
The Shroud of Turin is a large sheet of linen fabric which was used to wrap the body of a man shortly after his death. Was that man Jesus Christ? This documentary, produced for CBS Television, takes a close look at the evidence on both sides of the issue, as well as presenting a computer-assisted reconstruction of what the man in the shroud looked like. Hosted by Hector Elizondo.
