Synopsis by Elizabeth Smith
During the fourth century, the Emperor Constantine's mother, Helen, found the actual cross that Christ had been crucified upon in the hidden sections of a cave in Jerusalem. After thousands made a pilgrimage to visit Christ's burial place, the cross was lost in the Battle of Hattin in the 12th century. This program looks at all of the evidence available to today's historians in an effort to determine where this cross might be located. This video is part one in a nine-part series.
