Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
The trials and tribulations of growing up with a demanding, overly macho father are the focus of this interesting children's drama by Usman Saparov. Caman (Bengene Kurbandurdyev) incurrs the wrath of his father because he was afraid of crossing a narrow bridge high in the mountains. In order to make his son grow up a little faster, the father sends him to take care of a flock of sheep in the desert. The task would be daunting to many a grown-up, and Caman finds his share of unwelcome challenges, such as going down into a deep well to retrieve a rope.Though he seems awfully slow at times, circumstances give him a chance to show his father that bravery can take many forms.
