Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Jessica (Angela Lansbury) accepts the invitation of her niece Carrie (Kate McNeil), the wife of astronomer Leonard Palmer (Dean Jones), to be on hand for the return of a long-lost comet. Thrilled at the prospect of witnessing this stellar phenomenon, Leonard takes a long look through his telescope -- but doesn't like what he sees. Soon thereafter, Carrie's ex-boyfriend, business executive Drake Eaton (Steven Ford), turns up murdered...and Leonard is the prime suspect.
