Synopsis by Farida Ezzat
Adapted from Robert Harris’s bestselling novel, the historical drama unfolds in the late 1930s before the onset of World War II. Attempting to reach a peaceful solution to prevent Hitler from invading Czechoslovakia, Munich holds an emergency conference. British diplomat Hugh Legat (George MacKay) heads to Germany to attend the conference. Upon arriving, he reunites with his former Oxford colleague and German diplomat, Paul von Hartmann (Jannis Niewöhner). The two friends must navigate their old friendship and current political tensions during this critical time.
