Valuable lessons about friendship are learned in these four animated tales featuring Mumfie, the kind-hearted little elephant. In "Scarecrow's Birthday Surprise," Mumfie is busy planning a surprise party for Scarecrow's birthday, but Scarecrow thinks his friend is simply too busy for him. In "Scarecrow's New Best Friend," Scarecrow decides a lost goose will be his new best friend, but he doesn't realize that the goose will eventually return to his family. A plum tree becomes a symbol for patience and teaches Mumfie and Scarecrow another valuable lesson in "When You Wish Upon a Tree." Pinkey and Scarecrow are bummed when they can't play outside in "The Album," but Mumfie cheers them up by reminding them of the many fun adventures they've already had.
