Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
A wandering vagabond is seized, for no good reason, and prosecuted for a series of child murders on the flimsiest of evidence. The authorities need to pacify the public and make an example of someone, and as a man without allies, the vagabond is chosen. This film details the vagabond's arrest and trial and extensively depicts the circumstances surrounding his execution by the cynical and probably corrupt rulers of his country.
