This is a clip show, showing a few highlights from the third season of Mr. Show, and a teaser for the fourth season. It was shown before the fourth season began on HBO to expose the show to those unfamiliar with it, and to promote the upcoming season. The third season clips are presented in the format of a 1970s newscast, with the voices of the anchors, weatherman, and sports reporter dubbed by the Mr. Show cast to fit the clips. These include a sketch about NASA blowing up the moon, a sketch in which Bob Odenkirk passes a lie detector test with flying colors, a sketch in which the heavy metal band "Titanicca" visits a suicidal fan in the hospital, and a fake commercial for a warehouse outlet that sells a certain graphically described "marital aid." In addition to the highlights from the previous season, a collection of rapid-fire clips from the upcoming season is shown. Bob Odenkirk and David Cross make a brief appearance at the end of the show to further encourage everyone to watch.
