Synopsis by Andrea LeVasseur
Finnish filmmaker Tapio Suominen directs the biographical adventure Mosku - Lajinsa Viimeinen (Mosku - The Last of His Kind), based on the real life of the famous outdoorsman. Kai Lehtinen plays Mosku, the rugged hero who rules the Lapland reindeer population in the early 1900s. Throughout his life, he protects the forest from bandits and thieves who try to steal his reindeer, and frequently battles with his sworn enemy, the Russian alcohol seller Rupipää (Uula Laakso). Mosku was screened at the 2003 Taormina Film Festival.
