For many film fans, few composers can hold a candle to the diverse talents of incredibly prolific film scorer Ennio Morricone. An astonishingly eclectic and tireless songwriter whose 500-plus credits span four decades and feature work in ever genre, Morricone conducts the Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks and M√ľnchner Rundfunkorchester in performing songs from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Mission, Casualties of War, Once Upon a Time in the West, Cinema Paradiso, and number of other film classics in a landmark performance recorded live at the Philharmonie im Gasteig, Munich, on October 20, 2004.
