Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In this eight-part British series, Martyn Hesford was cast as Lee, a troubled young boy who was bundled off to Wales to live with his Uncle Morgan (Gareth Thomas). It turned out that both Lee and Morgan had their individual crosses to bear: The boy was the product of an unhappy environment, and Morgan was in danger of losing his farm. With a refreshing lack of sentimental goo, uncle and nephew combined their resources to keep the farm afloat, and to straighten out their respective lives. The first 55-minute episode of Morgan's Boy was broadcast by BBC1 on October 10, 1984.
