The science-fiction comedy, directed by Christopher Winterbauer, tells the tale of a girl and a boy who travel to Mars to reunite with the people they love. Walt (Cole Sprouse) is a barista in a college bookstore, and Sophie (Lana Condor) is a college student with a bright future. But what they have in common is their respective love interests are both on a Mars colony. To remedy this, the two concoct a plan to make it to Mars together and reunite with their distant loves. But plans were made to be broken, as these two discover on their long journey Mars-ward.
