Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
People in a small Yugoslavian village anticipate the changes in their lives following World War II in this black comedy. The government gives tempting promises for the future, but the people are still dependant on the local landowner for survival. The masses seem to embrace the revolution if they get enough meat and potatoes and a plot of land to call their own. One family weathers the political changes as the country moves from socialism to communism.
